Janet, Please accept our deepest sympathy during this sorrowful time for the loss of your mother. I know she must have been very proud of you and your family. Both Jimmy and I have experienced the loss of a mother. I think remembering the good things, special moments, and the loving, giving, Christian example they set for us helps to bring us joy and comfort even now after several years. I pray the same will be true for you as you continue on the path God has set for you and yours.

Janet, Pam so sorry to hear about your mom. I have so many memories of Ms. Vada. Whenever I ran into her over the years she always made a point to speak to me. Our families go back so many years. I still remember the rides to school Janet when I was in the second grade. Vada was always happy and smiling always spoke such kind words to me. Vada was such a large part of the community and so well liked, she will be missed by many.

Vada and Tom were wonderful neighbors. Grandma Lyon, Aunt Thelma and Grandma Dorothy thought the world of them both.
I am glad a would stop and see Vada when I was in the area. She never seemed to age. She was very proud of her family.

Please let us know if we can do anything for you. Nana Wall is so upset she can't be there to help you but she's still recovering from the flu. I keep remembering our trip to the beach and how she laughed at you and I trying to ride that bicycle built for two. Love you all so very much. Kathy
