Michael Donald Carlyle, age 64, of Cameron died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at FirstHealth Hospital in Pinehurst.

Mr. Carlyle was born in Moore County to the late Escar Carlyle and Bernice McDonald Carlyle.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother Sammy Carlyle.  He worked as a material specialist at Pentair pool products.

He is survived by his wife, Aline Ayers Carlyle of the home; a son Christopher Michael Carlyle (Jessica) of Cameron; a daughter, Jessica Carlyle Perdue (Doug, Jr) of Havelock; brothers, Johnny Carlyle (Eve) of Sanford, Carlton Carlyle (Ann) of Southern Pines and Freddie Carlyle (Ruby) of Cameron; sisters, Linda Cole and Betty Jones both of Sanford; one grandchild, Julian Perdue of Havelock.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2016, from 2:30PM to the funeral hour at Lemon Springs Baptist Church.  The funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Lemon Springs Baptist with Rev. Andy Foley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
