Mary Elizabeth Beal Stewart Wright, age 79, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

She was born in Chatham County, NC on May 11, 1937 to the late William Baxter Beal and Willie Lee Beal.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands Robert H. Stewart and David Lee Wright; brothers Victor Beal, Herbert Beal, Claudis Beal and James Beal.

She is survived by sons Joey Stewart and wife Holly of Sanford, Butch Stewart and wife Donna of Sanford, Brian Stewart of Kure Beach; daughters Sharon Lucas of Lillington, Connie Hardy and husband Jimmy of Broadway; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Joey & Holly Stewart, 877 Lower Moncure Road, Sanford, NC 27330.  The funeral will follow in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Yow officiating.

Burial will follow at 4:00 PM at Chappell Cemetery, intersection of Godfrey and Bennett Roads, Ellerbe, NC 28338.
