We cannot express the sorrow we feel for your family's loss and want to send our sincere condolences. We understand... I lost mom in December. Our hope is to bring you comfort!

Jesus Christ promised. “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ” (John 5: 28, 29)

Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

"No resident will say I am sick."
“At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness.”
(Isaiah 33:24 and 35:5, 6.)

It helps me to think of the day when there will no longer be obituary columns to bring sadness, instead there may be just the opposite, announcements of newly resurrected ones... and we can welcome them back with open arms!

No matter how great the promises are, we still miss them. I miss my mom terribly every day! My husband and I were given a audio link of others who coped with the loss of a loved one and it was wonderful to receive. I'm including it for you...

I worked with Herk at Trion. several years in the early 70's. He was a great man to work with and we had many interesting times as we worked on various projects.
My deepest condolences to all of his family in his passing.

I admired John very much. He was very enthusiastic about everything he did. John was a great man, who will be missed greatly. I am proud to call his a fellow Knight and Fraternal Brother. He will be in our prayers, heart and minds as well as his family.

I truly loved Uncle John. I loved sitting with him at Hergenroeder family reunions and listening to all of his stories...one more fantastic than the next. He always smiled and was an incredible keeper of our family history. My favorite story, that I still share with friends to this day, was that he dated the "Heinz girl" and the recipe for Heinz ketchup actually came from his mother.
I know that daddy (Carl) welcomed him to heaven's gates with a drink giving him a great big Bauer hug and a comment like, "well it took you long enough John!". The last of his siblings to join God in his heavenly home I know he is surrounded by all of them and by Aunt Dee. Go in Peace Uncle John, and we will meet again so you can regale me with your tales! Love you!
