Mr. John Darwin Davis, age 49, of Blacksburg, S. C., formerly of Sanford, N.C., died Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, in Spartanburg, S.C. 

He was born on June 10, l967, in Franklin County, Vermont to Orval Davis and Carol Lee Pinsonneault Davis.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Doreen Raymond.

He is survived by his father, Orval Davis of Orwell, Vermont; his mother, Carol Lee Davis of Sanford, N.C.; sister, Kathy Persons and husband Rick of Bedford, Quebec, Canada; two brothers, Tim Davis of Addison, Vermont and Kevin Davis and wife, Jill of Clayton, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Rita Audette of Vermont and eleven nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016, at 3:00 P.M. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bruce Lax officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
