Hattie “Sam” Jean Loveless Crews, age 67, of Cameron, NC, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Central Carolina Hospital.

She was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico on March 12, 1948 to the late Neville Loveless and Mariciena Cordova Loveless.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Dewey and Oscar Loveless and two sisters Betty Quintana and Mary Alice Virgil.  Mrs. Crews was a certified nursing assistant.

She is survived by her first husband James William Cain, Jr. of Orrum, NC; sons Patrick Cain and wife Grace of Bladenboro, NC, Jeffrey Cain and wife Karen of Tar Heel, NC; daughters Candy Cain Morris of Cameron, Deborah Renee Hunnings and fiancé Gene of New Bern, NC; sisters Thelma Sanchez Cruz of Pueblo, Colorado, Linda Rodriquez of Colorado and Sheila Hunnings of Bridgeton, NC; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.
