Kenny,
It was with great sorrow that I read of your mother's passing. She surely was blessed. My most sincere condolences to you and your family.

I'm so glad we ran into each other as you were leaving the hospital after visiting with Mrs. Foushee and I was entering to see my mom recently. Getting caught up brought back some great memories.

We have lots of fond memories of Ethel and the whole Foushee family growing up as neighbors in East Sanford. I can still see her working her flowers on Third Street! She was a wonderful lady! She will be missed but not forgotten. We are thinking of all of you.

Beth, you are in my prayers today and in the weeks to come. I regret I never took the initiative to meet your mom. Knowing you and the graceful manner of your life convinces me she was a great lady. When I was grieving the loss of my brothers prematurely, I believe God gave me this word of assurance....."I knew time would never be enough that is why I sent My Son and gave you the gift of eternity. Sorrow as you will, for it is obvious she was loved and admired, but you will not grieve as those without hope. Your mom is in eternity as we all shall be in due season to rejoice as the family of God. Be blessed by your memories and inspired by your mother's wonderful example to you and all who knew her. Sorry I cannot be there with you and your family today. I love you guys so much. Let me know if there is anything I can do to support you in this time of adjustment.

I so enjoyed being a friend of Ethel's. She had the sweetest smile and we did a lot of talking in the few years that I got to be in church with her and visiting with her at her home. We did talk a lot about gardening. I hope your sadness turns into smiles when you can imagine her in heaven with Garland at last. Prayers for all of you with love.

Kenneth, Karen, Beth, and family,
I was one of your mom and dad's "other" children. I will be forever grateful to them for their Godly influence on my life. I know your hearts are broken, yet I can only imagine how much brighter Heaven is today. Keeping each of you in my thoughts and prayers.
With lots of love,
Kathy Wilson Harris
