Edward “Ed” Arthur Van Orden, Jr., age 69, of Sanford, NC, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at his home.

He was born in Montgomery County, PA to the late Edward Arthur Van Orden, Sr. and Margaret Agnes Rosloff Van Orden.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Jean Van Orden Kelleher.  Ed’s career spanned thirty plus years in the pharmaceutical industry.  He loved coaching his girls in their sports activities and his passions were woodworking and golfing.

Ed is survived by his wife Michele Van Orden; daughters Lori Jean Van Orden and husband Aaron Albers of San Francisco, CA, Jennifer Lynn Beard and husband Raun of Durham, NC; and grandchildren Everest Albers, Van Beard and Colton Beard.

The family will receive friends at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
