Deloris Bull Collins Jenkins, age 77, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington, NC.

She was born in Dorchester County, SC on June 23, 1939 to the late Benjamin Bull and Matilda Mizell Bull.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Jimmie Roger Collins; a sister Theresa Leigh and a brother J.B. Bull.  Deloris worked for many years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Randolph County Health Department.

She is survived by her husband George Watson Jenkins of the home; daughter Elissa Collins of Chapel Hill, NC and a grandson Ryan Yoder.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Sayles officiating.  Burial will follow on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Bethel United Methodist Church cemetery located at 1163 Beidler Forest Road in Harleyville, South Carolina.
