Vialee Holder Cashion, age 79, of Sanford, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at her home.

Mrs. Cashion was born in Harnett County, on March 20, 1936, to the late Lewis Talmadge Holder and Ola Kennedy Holder.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Alexander “Tommy” Cashion.  Mrs. Cashion worked as an Administrative Assistant at Borden Brick and Tile Company.

She was a member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church.  She will be remembered by many for her love of flowers and caring for her yard.  It was one of her favorite hobbies. 

Surviving relatives include her loving daughter Lisa Cashion Moore of Asheville; brothers, Gilbert Holder and wife Jenny of Sanford and LT Holder of Sanford; and a special sister-in-law, Joan Holder of Pittsboro. 

The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, from 6 to 8PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held Sat., Sept. 12, 2015, 2PM at Buffalo Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Shields presiding.  Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
