I would like to share a comforting Scripture from God's Inspired, Word, the Bible with the family. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! Dudley and Family, praying for you all during this time. I remember your Daddy and your Mother coming to my Grand Fathers(A.M. Cooke) home and eating lunch.......your Daddy many times. He was always so cheerful and funny and I enjoyed listening to the stories they would tell........funny things that stick with you as an adult. I see your Mom from time to time, but I don't think she knows who I am. Anyhow, stay positive by all the cherished memories that you have. God is good.

We extend our love and sympathy to each of you in the death of your dear husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother. We trust your faith in God, good memories, knowing you did everything possible these past few weeks to provide loving care, and the love and support of each other and friends will all be sources of comfort as you grieve. His memorial service on Sunday was a fitting tribute to a great man as we remembered a life well lived
Blessings,

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

My expressions of condolence to the family. Death is an enemy that separates our loved ones from us but nothing can take away your fond memories. Jehovah God takes no pleasure in the death of anyone-Ezekiel 18:32. In His own time death will be swallowed up forever-Isaiah 25:8. His purpose for mankind is expressed at Psalms 37:29 to live on earth in peace and perfection forever. I do hope you find comfort in these scriptures. Mr. Brickhouse did a lot of catering for us as then CP&L/Progress Energy at the Cape Fear Plant. He was always a very kind man and we could always depend on the food being wonderful; he cooked a mean pork chop!!! We send our deepest condolences in your loss.

We have many wonderful memories of Norman and feel blessed he was a part of our lives when we lived in Sanford. He was a great caterer and had the best pork chops of any one.

Ms. Joanne and Dudley,
It has been a long time...... think often of your family and the funny stories that go with the memories from long ago. We will keep you all lifted up as God has you on a different path now. Being the family you are, I know you will find peace and love, and rejoice in it. My love to you all!
