Hazel Goins McNeill, 71, of Broadway, NC, died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her home.

Mrs. McNeill was born on July 12, 1944, in Rockingham County, NC to the late Harvey Goins and Martha Hickman Goins.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim McNeill; a grandchild, Lynsey Wilson and a brother, Paul Goins.  She was a bookkeeper for A&P Grocery Stores for several years prior to retirement.

Surviving relatives include her husband Lemar McNeill of the home; a daughter, Sherry Baber (Barry) of Pinehurst; brothers Mack Goins of Mamers and Maua Goins (Fayedean) of Goldston; a sister-in-law, Mozelle Goins of Sanford; a sister Mickie Jo Chandler of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Kelli Dunigan and Jonathan Wilson and three great grandchildren, Alex, Aidon and Bryson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 2-4PM at Holly Springs Multipurpose Center.  The funeral will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Sanctuary on Saturday, May 7th, 4PM with Rev. Scott Yow and Rev. Jerry Parsons presiding.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
