Ronald Woodrow Norton, Jr., age 68, of Sanford, died Friday, August 19, 2016, at his home.

He was a native of Cumberland County, born on June 29, 1948, to the late Woodrow Norton and Cora N. Norton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Rosser Norton.  Mr. Norton served his country in the US Army and worked as an auto mechanic after his military service.

Surviving relatives include his daughters, Kaye Norton Johnson (Christopher) of Sanford and Ronda Faye Norton of Sanford; brothers, Jimmy Norton (Brenda) of Sanford and Daniel Martin Norton (Brenda) of Fayetteville and one grandchild, Raygen Norton.

The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, from 6 to 8PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  No services are planned beyond the visitation.
