Mary Elizabeth Pilson Canady, 44, of Cameron died Thursday July 14, 2016.

Mrs. Canady was born in Lee County, on Aug. 29, 1971, to Leslie Ward Pilson and the late John Pilson.  She worked as an administrative assistant with IBM Corp.

Surviving relatives are her mother, Leslie Ward Pilson of Clayton; a daughter, Virginia Paige Canady of Clayton; brothers John Christopher Pilson and Scott Wayne Pilson both of Cameron; a niece Elizabeth Pilson of Clayton and one grandchild, Emma Leigh Faircloth.

The memorial service will be held at Cameron Baptist Church, (593 Carthage St – Hwy 24/27, Cameron) on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 2PM, with Dr. Wayne Greene and Rev. David Pilson presiding.  The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
