Lois Marie Gales Calcutt, age 73, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born in Lee County, NC on Sept. 7, 1942, to the late Willie Gales and Alice Buchanan Gales.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Calcutt.

She is survived by a son, Cecil Jack Calcutt of Sanford; a daughter, Marie Calcutt Miller “Eric” of Sanford; a sister, Marjorie Ruth Kelts, Florida; three grandchildren, Tiffany Calcutt, Marcus Hickman and Lyndsy Patrick and one great grandchild, Jasmine Calcutt.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11AM at Shallow Well Church cemetery.
