Betty Joyce Williams Clegg, 69, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, November 13, 2015 at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Clegg was born in Roberson County in St. Pauls, on Sept. 3, 1946, to the late Edward Williams and Eva Mae Allen Williams.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Williams.

Surviving relatives are her sons, Dan Clegg of SC and Mike Clegg of Cary; two brothers Eddie Williams and wife Angie of Sanford and Robert Williams and wife Linda of Sanford; two sisters, Marie Cooke and husband Tommy of Lemon Springs and Evelyn Logan and husband Ronald of Sanford and one grandchild.

A funeral will be held at Central Baptist Temple, Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, 2PM.  The family will receive friends from 12:30PM until funeral hour Tuesday as well at Central Baptist Temple with Rev. Mike Oldham presiding.  Burial will follow at Lee Memory Gardens.
