Troy C. Collins

Troy C. Collins, age 85, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Harnett County on March 6, 1937, to the late Neil Collins and Erma Haire Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sylvia and two brothers, Charles Collins and Cecil Collins.  Mr. Collins retired from the former Whitin Roberts Company as Quality Control Supervisor and also worked as an auxiliary police officer with the City of Sanford.  He was a faithful member of Kendale Acres Free Will Baptist Church.

Troy is survived by his daughter, Cathy Frazier of Wake Forest; two brothers, David Collins of Lillington and Bobby Collins of Jensen Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Alexandria Jackson and husband, Erik, Savannah Asad and husband, Yousef and Jonathan Frazier; nine nephews and five nieces.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Doug Western officiating.
