Thomas Wesley Macormic

Thomas Wesley Macormic, age 74, of Sanford, NC, died Monday, June 29, 2020 at Central Carolina Hospital. 

He was born in Phelps County, Missouri on September 1, 1945 to the late Charles Macormic and Verna Mae Gulley Towell.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Emma Barbarick. Mr. Macormic worked in construction.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda Wilson Macormic; daughters Katrina Dickens and husband Joel of Sanford, Lisa Johnson and husband Eric of Sanford; sisters Janet Scott and husband Delbert of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Ruth Hudgens and husband Bill of Springfield, Missouri, Betty Wallace and husband Galen of Katy, Texas, Patty Harris and husband Lonnie of Rolla, Missouri, Dixie Schaffer and husband Scott of St. James, Missouri; grandchildren Jessica Holt and husband Daniel, Leigh Ann Kelly, Alora Johnson and great-grandchildren Avery Holt and Nolan Holt.

Mr. Macormic will lie in state at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Wednesday, July 1st from 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM.  There will be no formal visitation.  A graveside service will be Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Rocky Fork Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Vanya Mullinax officiating.
