Thomas Lee Coleman

Thomas Lee Coleman, age 87, of Olivia, NC, died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Lee County, on December 4, 1933 to the late Arthur John Coleman, Sr. and Daisie Graham Coleman.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Charles and A J Coleman, Jr of Olivia; a sister, Daphene Thomas of Olivia.  He was part owner of Green Valley Florist for many years.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Eva Sloan Coleman of the home; sons Tim Coleman and wife Janice of Sanford; Percy Coleman and wife Alyson of Smithfield; grandchildren: Blair Burns of Denton, BreAnn Verreen of Raleigh and Hunter Brooke Preston of Moncure; Olivia and Ben Coleman of Smithfield; great-grandchildren: Emerson Cole and Micah Verreen and Step Great-Grandchild; Harleigh Preston; and a brother, Larry Coleman and wife Barbara of Olivia.

A funeral service at Olivia Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, 2PM with Rev. George Walton presiding.  Burial to follow in church cemetery.
