Thomas Kelly Clark, Sr., age 83, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2025, at Central Carolina Hospital.
He was born in Lee County, NC, on September 26, 1942, to the late Ike Clark and Elise Spivey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kelly Clark, and his sister, Linda Blackburn Garrett.
Thomas graduated from Greenwood School in 1960. He was a farmer, gardener, and Little League baseball coach. After farming, he went to work for J.T. Davenport as the Director of Customer Service, where he retired. He found enjoyment in working in the garden, camping, and playing golf with his retired J.T. Davenport friends. He was a member of Rocky Fork Christian Church. He was a devoted husband and father, and he will be greatly missed.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Carla Clark Lee of Whispering Pines, NC; son, Thomas Kelly Clark II; youngest “son,” Joseph Glenn Bonillia; grandchildren, Heather Lynn Clark, Jennifer Patrice Lee, Jonathon Lee, Ashlyn Haddock, Ben Haddock; great- grandchildren, Tyler Brock, Hailee Brock, and Connor Brock; and great-great-grandchildren, Ah’Lani Haire and Brooklyn Haire.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM, at Bridges and Cameron Funeral Home.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
