Theresa “Terri” Collier Fayer passed away peacefully, at her home in Chatham County on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the age of 65.
She was born March 28, 1960 to the late Annie Mae Morton and Bill Collier in Augsburg, Germany. Later on, she was loved by her dad, Trevor Ward. She was also preceded in death by her sister Billy Shields.
Terri is survived by her husband Ronald Fayer; children Davina Collier and Barry Matthews, Jr.; step-children Jeremy Fayer, Valery Fayer and Laurie Lynch (Conrad); grandchildren Ella Matthews and Sophia Matthews, Jayden and Catlyn Fayer, Taylor Fayer, Mason Fayer, Kaylan Lynch, Karter Lynch and great-grandchildren Clara Fayer and Tristen Fayer; sisters Debbie Smith (Danny), Anna Holder (Mike), Rae Willett (Mike), Cheryl Conder and Jenny Oudyk (Tim) . Terri also had many nieces and nephews that she cherished.
She worked at Magnetti Marelli for many years as a machinist. She loved the beach and all animals. Terri was a beautiful and giving woman who could light up a room with her smile.
Accepting friends and family on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Euphronia Presbyterian Church off of Steele Bridge Road, 169 Euphronia Church Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
