Theresa Lillian (Messier) Armstrong

Theresa Lillian Messier Armstrong, age 83, of Pittsboro, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at The Laurels of Chatham.

She was born in Bristol, Connecticut on August 12, 1936 to the late Henry and Thelma Messier.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Armstrong; daughter, Barbara Duggan and two sisters.

Mrs. Armstrong is survived by three daughters, Nancy Avery and husband, Arthur of Norwich, Connecticut, Laurie Armstrong of Pittsboro and Doris Lucas and husband, Gary of Florida; one sister; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Chatham Memorial Park with Pastor Chris Pipes officiating.
