Teresa Ann (Steele) Gentry

Teresa Steele Gentry, age 66, of the Deep River Community, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at her home with her husband by her side.

She was born in Virginia to the late Lewis Edgar Ranger Steele and Jean Whitt Steele.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild Devi Vella Naugain. Teresa graduated from Deep River School and was a devoted mother and caregiver.  She enjoyed doing crafts and was a loving homemaker.

Teresa is survived by her husband, of 47 years, Steven Henry Gentry (who she met at Coty); daughters Charlene Naugain and husband Pawan, Michelle Lea Meadows and husband Kevin; brother Brian Steele and grandchildren Ranger, Prisha, Briar, Aspen and Sutton.

The family will receive friends at First Apostolic Church one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor George Akers officiating.  Burial will follow at Flat Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
