Teresa T (Murphy) Cordevant

Teresa Murphy Cordevant, age 61, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lee County, NC, on March 13, 1959, to the late John Cecil Murphy and Shelby Marsh Murphy.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Michael, Danny and Timothy Murphy.  Teresa worked many years for Magneti Marelli.

Teresa is survived by her companion, of 27 years, Jerry Lynn Norris of the home; step-son Lynn Norris and wife Judiann of Sanford; brother Glenn Turner and wife Felecia of Alabama; sister Rhonda Murphy of Cameron and grandchildren Jailyn, Haylee, and Austin Norris.

A graveside service will be held Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, 11AM, at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.
