Prayers and Condolences to the family. Sylvia and I were classmates at Union Pines High School from 1969-1973. She was a sweet friend. She had such a beautiful spirit.

I worked with Sylvia for years at CP&L/Progress Energy and regrettably lost touch after I retired 9 yrs ago. We shared many laughs as well as life’s ups and downs. Not only was Sylvia one of my most favorite friends, she was a huge source of support to me in my job and I know she was to so many. She adored her family.

Sylvia & I went to UPHS together & she was my first roommate in college. Such a sweet and thoughtful person. (I have been thinking about Sylvia a lot lately and wanting to reach-out to her, but I didn't know where to start/where she was living.) My heart is so saddened today to hear this disturbing news. My condolences to the family.  Sylvia was a blessing to so many & touched a lot of lives over the years. (She certainly touched my life.  We shared a lot of fond memories in our earlier years!) Blessings & Prayers to you and yours.
