Stephanie Lorraine (Stanley) Chilton

Stephanie Stanley Chilton, age 56, of Sanford, NC, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Moore County, NC on October 8, 1966 to Warren Clyde Stanley “Tiny” and Arlene Ruff Stanley of Sanford.  She was preceded in death by her father; first husband Sean Pemberton and brother Anthony Stanley.  Stephanie was a loving and caring person. She was a devoted mother and was very proud of her children. Stephanie was strong-willed and hard-working and was the Practice Manager at Bright Audiology in Sanford.  She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son Jonathan Pemberton and wife Alivia; daughter Colleen Pemberton and fiancé Cleyton Hartman; sister Dana Stanley Collins and husband Sam all of Sanford; one precious grandson Brooks Lawrence Hartman, and her fur-baby Ty.

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Monday, April 24th at 11:00 AM at Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Becky Albritton and Rev. Bob Albritton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made towards a college scholarship fund for her grandson, Brooks. Checks can be made payable to his mother, Colleen Pemberton and sent to Bright Audiology, 1620 South 3rd Street, Sanford NC 27330.
