Shirley (Riddle) Tart

Shirley Riddle Tart, age 74, of Sanford, NC, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Moore County.

She was born in Lee County on June 21, 1950 to the late Horace Riddle, Sr. and Aver Thomas Riddle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Ray Tart and brother Horace Riddle, Jr.

She is survived by daughters Joyce Tart Marks and Christopher of Sanford and Jackie Renee Stone of Midland, TX; one sister Peggy Gunter and husband Bobby of Sanford; grandchildren, Aaron Rai Oxendine, Brandon Marks, Travis Marks and Samantha Marks and 5 great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
