Sherry Lynn (Webb) Elliott

Sherry Lynn Webb Elliott passed away at her home in Sanford on Christmas Morning Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the age of 61.

She was born November 28, 1964 to the late Sherrill and Starr Webb of Mamers, NC. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Dalanie Webb.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband, of 35 years, Jerry Elliott Jr.; brother Speedy Webb, sister Sonya Webb and Tony; sister Brandy Thomas and Mark; in-laws Jerry and Joyce Elliott; brother and sister-in-law Jason and Jess Elliott; nieces and nephews Keith, Brandon, Luke, Brittney, Wyatt, Caden, Macey, Case, Remi, Roelana, Gideon, Thomas, Katherine and Elizabeth.

Sherry worked at Coty in Sanford for 25 years and later enjoyed babysitting for family and friends. She had a strong faith in God and was a lifelong member of Cool Springs Church. Growing up, she spent a lot of time on her grandparents’ farm and loved sharing stories about time she spent with her grandma. She also enjoyed spending her time gardening, cooking, crafting and home decorating. Sherry particularly loved going to the beach. She spent many hours hunting for seashells, visiting the aquariums, and sitting peacefully on the shore with her husband Jerry watching the waves roll in and out. She loved spending time with her family every chance she got and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Cool Springs Church, 2741 Cool Springs Rd, Broadway, on Saturday, January 3rd at 11am. Visitation with the family will be in the church fellowship hall following the service and other times at the family home.
