Sharon Brown Patterson, age 62, of Sanford, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lee County on August 28, 1959, to Shirley Wade Brown and the late Thomas Thurman Brown. Sharon enjoyed gardening, crafts and shopping. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ with all her heart and always put the needs of others before her own. She will be missed.

In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ken; brother, Rodney Thomas Brown of Harnett County; sister, Audrey Hanlin of Painesville, Ohio; niece, Anna Leia Bruner; nephews, Gavin Bruner, Hogan Hanlin and Palmer Hanlin and her beloved cats, Ralph and Fu-Fu and pups, Paige and Bandit

A service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at a later date.
