**Service Scheduled" Harry Edward " Sellars, Jr.

Harry Edward “Eddie” Sellars, Jr., age 74, of Sanford, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Central Carolina Hospital with his son, Trey by his side.

He was born in Lee County on May 12, 1951 to the late Harry Edward Sellars, Sr. and Reba Joye Sellars.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Taylor Sellars; son Taylor Sellars, and sisters Faye Johnson and Frances Davis.

Eddie worked as a supervisor for Weyerhaeuser/Sierra Pine and spent eleven years serving at Floyd L. Knight School. He found great joy in coaching Little League baseball for fifteen years, impacting countless young lives along the way. Eddie loved worshiping at Crossroads Ministries, and above all, he cherished his family—always putting their needs before his own.

He is survived by his son and caregiver, Trey Sellars; granddaughter Maddie Sellars and many extended family, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Crossroads Ministries.   A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Paul Backlund and Rev. Beth Hood officiating.
