Sarah E. Sharpe

Sarah E. Sharpe, age 85, of Tallahassee, Florida, originally of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

She was born in Sanford to the late Albert Hardy Sharpe and Fannie Belle Walker Sharpe.  She worked in Sanford as an R.N. for several years, then opened and operated a custom fashion business in Lynchburg, VA from 1967 to 1980.  She then returned to the nursing field as a home health care specialist. She decided in 2004 to move to Tallahassee to be closer to her son. 

She is survived by her son Ivan Baggett of Tallahassee; her sisters Judy Holder of Elkin, Sybil Campbell of Reading, Pennsylvania and brother John Sharpe of Sanford.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Cameron Grove Cemetery with Rev. Russell Blackmon officiating.
