Ruth Marie (Ross) Campbell

Ruth Marie Ross Campbell, age 90, of Cameron, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House.

She was born in Moore County, on July 18, 1933, to the late Samuel Henry Ross and Annie Isabel Ring Ross.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Campbell; son, Billy Ray Campbell; brother, Robert Ross and sister, Juanita Campbell.  Mrs. Campbell worked in the upholstery business for several years.

Surviving relatives are her sisters, Ruby Frye of Cameron, Elise Frye of Cameron, Etta Holder of Cameron, Bonnie Foushee of Sanford, and Nancy McDuffie of Sanford.

A visitation of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services at New Home Baptist Church in Vass on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 1PM to the funeral hour.  A funeral service will be held at 2PM in the church with Rev. Don Edwards and Rev. John Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
