Ronnie Williams

Ronnie Williams, age 78, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. 

He was born on September 30, 1947 to Mutt and Edna Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Billy and Joe Williams; sisters Margie Whitaker and Carol Williams and brother-in-law Roderick Lloyd, Jr.

 Ronnie was known for his kind heart and love for his family and friends.  He worked at Magnetti Marelli, formerly Carter Weber, from May 1976 until he retired in July, 2012.  Ronnie was a dedicated employee, loving spouse, dad and grandpa. 

Ronnie is survived by his wife Kathy Williams; a son Jamie Williams; daughter Kimberly Evans (Chad); stepson Gary Hawks; grandson Lamarius Evans; sisters-in-law Marsha Williams, Faye Brown(Dennis) and Vivian Beauchamp (Jim), and Minnie Williams and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Thomas officiating.  Burial will follow in Lee Memory Gardens.  Friends will also be received at the family home, 1204 West Pointe, Sanford, NC.
