Obituary
Ronnie Earl Cain, age 75 of Sanford, NC, passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Peak Resources Pinelake in Carthage, NC, with his family by his side.
He was born in Robeson County, NC on February 7, 1948 to the late Luther B. Cain and Jettie Kinlaw Cain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Walton, Bishop, Luther, Herbert, Willie, Bobby, Violet, Retha Mae, Emmy Dell, Edda Marie and Jettie Van.
Ronnie was a cowboy if ever there was one. He worked with horses his whole life – riding, roping, barrel racing and everything in-between. Ronnie was a huge fan of all Western movies. He served our country as an Army Reservist and was a truck driver. He will be missed by his loving family.
He is survived by his daughter Tracy Cain Lee (Ronnie) of Sanford; granddaughter Hannah Michelle Lee; sister Tonnie Kinlaw of Lumberton; friend and caregiver Rose Whittington and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Moore Union Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Val Chadwick officiating. The family will greet friends in the cemetery following the service.
