Ronald Nelson Kelly Obituary

Nelson Kelly, age 82, of the Northview Community of Sanford, NC, died Monday, May 31, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Lee County, NC on December 24, 1938 to the late Jospeh Ira Kelly and Blanche Gunter Kelly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Jack Wayne Kelly and Joseph Harold Kelly. Nelson graduated from Deep River High School Class of 1957 and owned and operated a vending company, truck stop and worked with his brother, Donald at City Pawn Shop.

He is survived by his brother Donald Kelly and wife Frances; sister Brenda Tucker and husband Kim; special niece and caregiver Ashley Kelly; special niece Tamra Wilson all of Sanford; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no visitation or services per Nelson’s request.
