Ronald Lee Phillips

Ronald Lee Phillips, age 69, of Sanford, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Universal Healthcare of Ramseur. 

He was born in Chatham County, NC on February 24, 1951 to Sam Phillips and Pauline McDonald Phillips.  His father preceded him in death and Ronald served our country in the United States Army.

In addition to his mother, Ronald is survived by his wife Pat Cole Phillips; son Bryan Phillips and wife Summer of Goldston; daughter Rebecca Thornton of Sanford; siblings Larry Phillips and wife Renee of Sanford, Debbie Pollard of Gastonia, Chris Phillips of Lillington, Lori Phillips of Sanford; and grandchildren Joshua Williams and wife Jaileen of Montana, Kelsey Phillips of New York, Morgan Thornton of Sanford and Aspen Phillips of Goldston.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bryan and Summer Phillips’ home, 109 East Goldbar Ave., Goldston, NC 27252.  A graveside service will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Buffalo Cemetery with Dr. John Allen officiating.
