Roger Wayne Phillips, Jr.

Roger Wayne Phillips, Jr., age 64, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice Home.

He was born in Lee County on January 27, 1960 to the late Roger Wayne Phillips Sr., and Addie M. Cooke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Lee Phillips. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, was a car and motorcycle enthusiast especially Harley Davidson. He enjoyed watching Nascar.

But his Love of family was most important to him, he will be missed.

He is survived by his Son, Kenneth Phillips of Sanford; Daughter Tiffany Wilmoth Evans (Chuck Davis) Pinehurst; sister Rose Phillips Fenton of Sanford, and grandchildren Aislinn Evans, and Ethan Evans.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
