Roger Allen Knoll

Roger Allen Knoll, 88, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in Palm Harbor, Florida — twelve years to the day after the passing of his beloved wife, Phebe. He will be laid to rest beside her for eternity on Friday, July 11 at 11:00 am at Buffalo Cemetery with the Reverend Bill Altman officiating.

Born on March 5, 1937, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roger served in the U.S. Air Force as a radar technician before joining the U.S. space program at Cape Canaveral. It was there in Cocoa Beach that he met his soulmate and love of his life, Phebe Ann Willett. The two were married in 1961 and shared over five decades of deep devotion. They had two children - Michael and Michelle - and were the true essence of committed, involved, and loving parents.

Roger spent 25 years with Ford Motor Company’s Dealer Computer Services before retiring to help Phebe run her flower shop — a quiet partnership that suited them perfectly. A passionate bowler, he spent decades in the Cash Masters league, rarely missing a game and always enjoying the company as much as the competition.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Michelle Knoll; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Aileen Knoll; and granddaughter, Phebe Knoll. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phebe Willett Knoll, and his grandson, Allan Jay Ibanez.

Roger was a quiet, steady presence — a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His life was marked by loyalty, humility, and kindness; he will be deeply missed and remembered always with much love and gratitude.
