Robert Curtis Halewski

Robert Curtis Halewski, age 45, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at UNC Hospital after a short illness.

He was born in York, Pennsylvania to Marsha Halewski Sanders and the late Stanley Halewski.  Robert was larger than life – his laughter would light up the room.  He enjoyed watching sports and going to the beach.  He dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca; mother and step-father Marsha and Harry Sanders of North Carolina; son Joey Speagle of Sanford; daughters Samantha Newton of South Carolina; Katie Wilson of Sanford and Isabella Wilson of Sanford; brother Marcus Sanders of Virginia; sisters Shelley Smith of South Carolina and Megan Mouldon of North Carolina.  Robert was looking forward to the birth of  his son Robert Curtis Halewski, Jr. in October.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
