Robert Wayne Everett, Sr.

Robert Wayne Everett, Sr.  age 76, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

 He was born in Lee County on September 9, 1944 to the late Fletcher Jones Everett, Sr. and Amina Hall Everett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Edward Hall and Fletcher Everett and a grandson, Joshua Everett.  Robert worked many years at Carter Weber and was a member of Calvary Missionary Methodist Church.  In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring old cars and trucks.  He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 Robert is survived by his loving wife, Jean; sons, Robert Everett, Jr. of Sanford, Nicholas Chad Everett and wife, Ashley of Broadway, Robin O’Quinn and wife, Carlie of Sanford; daughters, Pamela “Sissy” Fore and husband, Jerry of Sanford and Gala Bunch of Aberdeen; brothers, Elbert Hall and wife, Jackie of Sanford and Billy Everett of Sanford; sister, Joanne Dover of Sanford; grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Jaden, Jordan, Chris, Avery, Olivia, Asher, Noah, Anna and Jack and three great-grandchildren, Addison, Blaine and Grayson.

 The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Calvary Missionary Methodist Church with Rev. Curtis Norris officiating.  Burial will follow in Johnson Family Cemetery.
