Robert Hollis Bray, Jr. age 85, of Sanford, NC, died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Virginia on February 16, 1935 to the late Robert Bray and Vivetta Hughes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean Lynch Bray; son, Jarrett Bray and grandson, Richard Lawrence. Mr. Bray retired after 23 years of service in the US Army which included several tours of duty in Vietnam.

He is survived by his son, Robert Bray, III of Sanford; step-daughters, Eva Sharp of Sanford and Debbie Lawrence and husband, Rickey of Sanford; grandchildren, Tonya McLeod, Sandra Tilley and Tabitha Agront; and great-grandchildren, Autumn McLeod, Dillon McLeod, Jamison Fowler and Kendall Fowler.
