Robert Hollis Bray, III

Robert Hollis Bray, III, fondly known as “Big Daddy Bray” age 63, of Sanford, NC, passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Marion, NC on December 4, 1961 to Robert Hollis Bray, Jr. and Sylvia Jean Johnson Bray.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Jarrett Bray.  He is survived by his daughter Tabitha Bray Brock (Kevin) of Fayetteville; former step-daughter Heather Fox (Jesse) of Sanford; grandson, Talon Agront; best friend  Gordon Laverack and special friend Tammy Sharpe.

Big Daddy Bray worked many years at Pentair in the maintenance department and enjoyed Harleys, fishing, being outdoors in his sunglasses and flip flops - in all seasons. He collected John Deers, lions, eagles and Harleys.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him and his comical personality.

Tabitha and her father had a special bond.  He was her Mufasa and she was his Simba. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 PM.  The family asks that guests dress comfortable.  Jeans and leathers are welcome.

A Memorial Ride will be scheduled at a later date.
