Rhonda Sue (Hughes) Yates

Rhonda was born on December 18, 1967 in Union Town, PA and passed away at her home on April 3rd, 2024. Rhonda is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Joel Ellis Yates 11-2-65 / 1-1-24. Her parents Lonnie Hughes 8-30-39 / 7-6-22. Helen Elizabeth Hughes 4-29-52 / 11-20-15. 

Rhonda was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved gardening, wearing her extravaganza hats and bright makeup. She devoted her last year's to her family and her fur babies Rubie and Breezie Yates.  She worked as a CNA because she loved helping people. 

Rhonda left behind her Daughter Loni Faye Ginnetti (son in law Michael J Ginnetti Grandson Michael Ellis J Ginnetti. 

A son Joseph Brian Hughes (daughter in law Sherissa Hughes) Grandchildren Jayden Hughes, Isabella Hughes, Joclynn Hughes. And Jaxson Hughes of NC.

She's survived by her sisters Bonnie Alice Hughes Huber (Husband Jay Huber) of KY

LouAnn Hunt (Husband Ken Jackson) of NC 

Her brothers William Hughes (ex-wife Robin Hughes) Shawn Hughes (wife Stephanie Hughes) of NC

Lonnie Hughes Jr. (Wife Kim Baker) of PA

Nieces and Nephews; Joanna Hunt, Charly Ball, Terri and Sherri Stewart, Samantha Abell, Sherri, Billy, Melissa, John, Chevie, Chance, Daisy Hughes.  Ashlyn Hughes, Destiny Weezorak. Crystal and Travis Hunt, Robert Hughes and Carrigan Hughes.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach and walking her fur babies Rubie and Breezie Yates.  She also has a best friend that spent almost every day with her and loved her like a sister, Kim Creador. 

A Celebration of life Service will be held on Saturday April 13th 2024 at Barbecue Creek Park at 2pm. In honor of my mother, I would appreciate if everyone could wear your most fashionable hat. 

A big thanks to Bridges and Cameron of Sanford NC. Multiple family and friends for the tremendous amount of love, help, support and comfort.
