Rebecca Lee (Williams) Marsh

Rebecca Lee Williams Marsh, 75, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at UNC Hospital.

She was born in Lee County, NC on March 11, 1945 to the late Joseph Tyre Williams and Dorothy Rosser Williams.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow “Woody” Marsh, Jr and two brothers, Johnny Williams and Jimmy Williams.  Rebecca was a long-time member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.  She and her late husband owned and operated Marsh TV for many years. 

Rebecca is survived by her son, Erin Marsh and wife, Kelly of Sanford; daughter, Robin Hudson and husband, Rodney of Sanford; sisters, Faye Weeks of Sanford and Patsy Smith and husband, Rev. Ira Smith of Sanford; grandchildren, Stuart Hudson and wife, Lindsay, Ashley Hudson, Cameron Marsh, Olivia Hudson, Abbey Marsh, and Keri Ann Marsh; one great-grandson, Bennett Hudson and many special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donald Burns and Rev. Ira Smith officiating. Friends may visit Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm to sign the register and other times at the home of Erin and Kelly Marsh.   Covid-19 guidelines will be followed, and face coverings will be required for those in attendance.
