Randolph "Randy" Bruce Foster

Randolph “Randy” Bruce Foster, age 78, of Siler City, NC, died Sunday, October 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Greenville, SC on December 17, 1941 to the late Bruce T. Foster and Josie M. Peace Foster.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Hendrix A. Foster.

Randy was a man who absolutely loved his family and especially his loving wife Gaye.  He was the epitome of a Godly husband and father and even to end of his sickness he always asked how his wife was doing.  He had a heart of gold and loved cooking.  His family enjoyed his deep-fried turkeys, green beans and sense of humor.  Randy’s favorite pastimes were watching Nascar, tinkering with cars and fishing.  He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Gaye Jones Foster; daughters Kimberly F. Wilson and husband Addrian of Iva, SC, Amy Suzanne Unger and husband Matthew of Sanford, NC, Julie Anne Crawford and husband Miles of Sanford; son Jamie Ashworth and wife Christy of Fuquay-Varina, NC; grandchildren Jonathan R. Wilson and wife Andrea, Matthew P. Wilson and wife Shawna, Zachary H. Wilson and wife Casey, Hannah M. Wilson, Stephen M. Unger, Zoie Michele Unger, Jessica Anne Gurganus and husband Ben, Hailey Brooke Crawford, Riley Ashworth, Archer Ashworth and 7 great-grandchildren.
