Ralph Bud Hall

Ralph Bud Hall, 86, of Sanford went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 11, 2020, at his home.

He was born in Lee County on December 21, 1933, to the late George Alton Hall and Mary Edna Hall.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Gunter Hall; his daughter, Deborah Shackelford; brothers, Coley, Ray and Roy Hall; and his sister, Maddie Hall White.

Mr. Hall was the owner and operator of M. G. Screen Company.  He was a member of Sanford Church of God; loved his Lord and family.  Ralph enjoyed working on his farm with his cows.

Surviving relatives are his son, Greg Hall of Sanford; his brother, Jack Hall of Sanford; three grandchildren, Anthony Hall (Crystal), Josh Shackelford (Brandi), and Ryan Shackelford (Rachel); eight great-grandchildren, Landon Kropf, Devon Kropf, Brooklyn Hall, Madison Shackelford, Haylee Shackelford, Ethan Shackelford, Riley Shackelford, and Laycee Shackelford.

A visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, from 1 to 3PM at Sanford Church of God.  The funeral will begin at 3PM with Pastor Mike Horton and Pastor DeWayne Dickerson presiding.  Burial will follow at Shallow Well Cemetery.
