Rachel Wester Butner, age 95, of Sanford, NC died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Nash County, NC on August 13, 1925 to the late Joseph Burell Wester and Eila Harper Wester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Butner and brother Joseph B. Wester, Jr. Mrs. Butner worked as a supervisor for Schneirsons & Son’s Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Butner is survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Donald Thompson officiating.
