Pryor Lee Dark, Jr

Pryor Lee Dark, Jr., died September 12, 2022 at his home.  He was born on April 14, 1948 to the late Pryor Lee Dark, Sr. and Helen VanLear Dark.

He is survived by his sons, Dustin Dark of Southern Pines and Nicholas Dark of Cameron; a daughter, Daria Dark Mashburn and fiancé Roger Lewis of Cameron, daughter Danielle Kreibick-Stanley of Sanford and daughter Porsha McCauley of New Castle, OK; grandchildren, Matthew, Colby and Avery Mashburn and Elijah and Anna Stanley.

Mr. Dark served his country in the US Airforce.  He worked as a correctional officer for the NC Dept. of Corrections prior to his retirement.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery on North Chatham Street in Siler City, NC.  A visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, from 6 to 7:30PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  Rev. Robert Thomas will officiate the service.
