Peter James Smith, Jr.

Peter James Smith Jr., age 29, of Sanford, NC, died Friday, August 16, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Orange County on Dec. 26, 1989, to Peter James Smith and Lois Dawn Evans Smith.  He was preceded in death by his wife Jenny May Spears Smith.

Peter is survived by his father Peter James Smith and wife Lois M. Smith of Sanford; his mother, Lois Evans Smith of Sanford; a son Evan James Smith of Sanford; daughters, Caitlyn Maria Smith, Carolyn Jena Smith, and Elliana Smith all of Sanford; two sisters, Teresa Baker and Kevin of Broadway and Nicole Saenz and Eric of Sanford; paternal grandparents James Smith and Virginia of Sanford.

The funeral will be held Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, 2PM, at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held one hour prior from 1-2PM at Bridges-Cameron.  Burial will follow in Lee Memory Gardens.
