Paula Jean O’Quinn Stone, age 53, of Sanford, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Lee County, NC on October 5, 1968 to Paul Ronnie Goins and Barbara Jean Kelly O’Quinn. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Cameron Scott Gattis and step-son Johnathan Cody Stone. Paula graduated from Lee County Senior High School and worked as an embroiderer for Balloons, Inc. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Heather Jackson; former husband Richard James Stone; sister Renee Gibson of Sanford; brothers Robin O’Quinn and wife Carly of Sanford, Rodney O’Quinn and wife Kim of Gulf and grandsons Johnathan Gattis, Carson Gattis and Dakota Hicks.

Paula is also survived by aunts Helen Rosser, Catherine Williams; uncle Bobby Kelly; niece Allison Cotten and nephew Kelly O’Quinn all of Sanford and nephew Brandon O’Quinn of Brickhaven.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
